"I am in no way different from anyone else, that my predicament, my sense of aloneness or isolation may be precisely what unites me with everyone" —Franz Wright.
I believe art is a way for the universe to gaze into the mirror. That belief is the spine of my fine art work, which often deals with identity—blurring the line between individuality and commonality to explore the intersection of self and other, and occasionally the intersection of nature and artificiality. I’m interested in what unites us with, and what separates us from ourselves, from each other, and from the world around us.
